Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring at least 1 year of experience, with night shifts and ACLS/NIH certifications required.
Details
- Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of Stepdown or comparable nursing experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
