Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in a hybrid OR setting supporting complex vascular and cardiac procedures, with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience required.

Details

  • Work in an Interventional Radiology unit with 3 Hybrid ORs equipped with 2 Philips systems and 1 Siemens system
  • Procedures range from completion angiograms to aortic grafts and TAVR
  • Average daily caseload of 3–6 cases requiring an IR Tech
  • 4x10-hour day shifts starting at 6:45 AM, with flexibility to discuss a 3x12-hour schedule
  • Night and weekend call required, with 24/48-hour call shifts
  • Charting performed in Epic
  • Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiac Technologist program
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) required
  • Trauma Level I and acute care hospital experience preferred
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Supports all hybrid OR cases including completion angiograms, aortic grafts, and TAVRs
  • Scrubs are provided
  • First-time travelers are welcome provided all experience requirements are met
