Description

American Traveler is seeking a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring ARRT(R)(MR) certification and the ability to work independently.

Details

• Position is based in the Imaging Department of a 137-bed acute care hospital
• Shift is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• No call requirements and no weekend hours
• May be asked to assist in other imaging areas during downtime
• MRI equipment includes a Siemens Symphony
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience with the ability to work independently
• ARRT(R)(MR) certification required
• AHA certifications required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center offering a broad range of services including cardiology, ortho, OBGYN, ED, gastroenterology, and more
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Any scrub color is acceptable per hospital attire policy
• First-time travelers will not be considered; must be able to work independently
