Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro position requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and night shift availability in Ohio.

Details

• Hospital-based Stepdown Neuro unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent neuro stepdown experience required; travel experience is acceptable
• PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required
• Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Holiday coverage required — must work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any location within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting another assignment at any location within the system
