Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and a WI or compact RN license currently in hand.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital's Maternal Child Services department
- Patient population includes antepartum, labor & delivery, LDRP, mother/baby, and Level 1 Nursery cases
- Baby-friendly protocols are followed on this unit
- Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every 3rd weekend is required
- Travelers may float as 'Helping Hands' to other units within scope as needed
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active WI RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Required certifications: BLS and NRP
- Preferred certifications: STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Block scheduling is available at manager's discretion
- One holiday shift is required, with possible participation in a holiday rotation
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
- Please communicate any time-off requests as early as possible
