Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency, working overnight 4x12 shifts.

Details

32-bed LDRP unit in a hospital setting
Care provided across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP), as well as postpartum and mother-baby (PP and MB)
OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience is highly preferred
Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
On-call hours are required based on staffing needs, averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
Epic EMR experience is required
Local candidates are not accepted for this position

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Current certifications required: NRP, AWHONN (or C-EFM), and FHM
Epic EMR proficiency required
Two professional references required for consideration
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities span the full LDRP continuum, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care
Some staff opt to pick up one extra weekend shift and one extra weekday shift in lieu of on-call hours
