Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and the ability to float within skill set.
Details
- Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- Placement on a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on the greatest need and the traveler's skill set
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Every other holiday (EOH) required
- Floating required within skill set onsite or to sister sites within 40 miles
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, both must be AHA-issued
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care experience required
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidate may be placed on either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit depending on facility need and individual skill set; Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are equally eligible
- Local candidates are welcome to apply, though a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
