Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift travel assignment, requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior completion of a travel assignment.
Details
- Works in a hospital-based CT Scan department
- Operates Siemens CT scanners and related equipment
- Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Prior completion of at least one travel assignment required
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field
- Active Maryland license required (license required if applicable)
- ARRT registration required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count for large academic medical center placements)
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform CT procedures and operate Siemens scanners in the examination of patients
- Interact with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff throughout the shift
- Counsel patients on radiographic procedures to be performed
- Assist physicians with biopsies and drainage procedures
- Secure patient consent for intravenous injections and position patients on equipment
- Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
