Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position specializing in rehabilitation and post-surgical care on a night shift schedule at a large academic medical center in Maryland.
Details
- Inpatient acute Med/Surg unit with a focus on rehabilitation care
- Patient population includes post-surgical, amputation, spinal cord injury/dysfunction, brain injury, stroke, and complex musculoskeletal conditions
- Care provided is typically a few days out from surgery (post-surgical recovery)
- 13-week travel assignment
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Dysrhythmia management experience required
- Experience at a facility with 500+ beds required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide acute inpatient nursing care to post-surgical and rehabilitation patients
- Prior travel experience (1–2 assignments) preferred
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Candidates must be strong, well-qualified applicants for this high-acuity academic medical center
