Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Boston, MA, requiring straight IR experience and GE/Siemens equipment knowledge.
Details
- Interventional Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting in Boston, MA
- Procedures include angioplasty, TIPS, thrombectomy (PE/Stroke), and other angiographic interventions
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call coverage required
- 40 hours per week
- Float not required
- Charge nurse role not required
Requirements
- ARRT (R) or relevant registry required
- MA Radiology License required if applicable
- Current BLS required
- Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- Straight IR experience required — no other specialties accepted for this position
- Proficiency with GE and/or Siemens equipment required
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform a range of IR procedures including angioplasty, TIPS, and angiographic studies; extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) is preferred
- Candidates with prior experience at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered
- Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- COVID vaccination and booster required; flu vaccine required during flu season — medical exemptions are accepted
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Parking near this Boston facility can be costly; candidates are encouraged to plan accordingly
