Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of experience for a travel assignment covering acute care, OB, ER, and more at a Montana medical center.

Details

• Works across multiple care areas including acute care, OB, and the ER
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage is required
• On-call availability is required

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NRP/NALS) certifications required
• Proficiency in intubation procedures
• Ability to perform basic ECG interpretation and identify life-threatening arrhythmias
• Knowledge of indications and contraindications for respiratory care procedures per AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assumes full responsibility for respiratory care delivered to patients across all facility departments
• Performs advanced cardiac life support and pediatric and neonatal life support protocols
• Conducts respiratory care assessments and provides relevant patient condition updates to physicians
• Performs intubation procedures as needed
