Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Scan Technologist for a night shift position in Statesboro, GA, requiring 2+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Works in a CT Scanner department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
• 3x12-hour night shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call required
• No floating required
• EMR: Cerner; Cerner and/or Change Healthcare PACS experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of CT Technologist experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment successfully completed
• ARRT(R) and BLS required
• ARRT(CT) preferred but not required
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program
• State license required if applicable; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Performs routine and advanced diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Responsibilities include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level, performing special procedures, angiographic procedures, and related quality control monitoring
• Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures and maintains availability and sterility of equipment and supplies
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration; one major and one minor holiday coverage may be required
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this position
