Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation position in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
High neurological patient population, including stroke patients
Performs standard medical floor nursing care; Heparin drips are not used on this unit
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every third weekend required, covering Friday and Saturday nights
Sundays are part of the regular work week with some scheduling flexibility available
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Stroke certification is a plus but not required

Additional Information

Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Maintain complete and accurate medical records and meet Core Measure responsibilities
Provide patient and family education, instructions, and explanations
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
