Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience performing TTE, TEE, stress echo, and contrast studies across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings in Colorado.

Details

• Works across multiple settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and Cath Lab
• Performs TTE, TEE, contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, and exercise and Dobutamine stress echo
• Occasional pediatric TTE cases may be required
• Equipment includes Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin
• EMR systems include Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
• Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts with a rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of echocardiography experience
• RDCS credential required
• BLS (AHA) required
• CCI registry credential (RCS, RVS, RCCS, or RCIS) or ARDMS (RVT) required
• Proficiency in TTE, TEE, contrast echo, bubble studies, and stress echo (exercise and Dobutamine)
• Left-handed scanning preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• CO state or Compact license required if applicable
• A CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) background check is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should be prepared to initiate this process promptly
