Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU travel assignment in Boston, MA, requiring at least 2 years of acute care or ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Blake 12 ICU is an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma intensive care unit
• Cares for highly complex, critically ill patients supported by a large multidisciplinary team
• 36 hours per week with a 50/50 day and night rotating shift schedule
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• EMR: Epic (charting system used at this facility)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross, CHSF, and Military are not accepted at this location)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient experience or current ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source verification of professional license required (both NURSYS and BON required for nursing licenses)
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provides critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population including medical, surgical, transplant, and trauma cases
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public parking lots are available at an approximate daily cost of $17–$22; public transportation is encouraged
• Time-keeping system: UKG/Kronos
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of consideration
