Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU Transport position requiring helicopter and ambulance transport experience, with a FL or compact license and night shift availability.

Details

  • NICU Transport unit within a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital
  • Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma designated facility
  • Patient ratio of 1:1
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
  • Charting is done in Cerner

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
  • Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU/Peds transport nursing experience required
  • Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required

Additional Information

  • Provides neonatal and pediatric critical care during helicopter and ambulance transport
  • Scrub color: Royal Blue
  • No RTO during the contract; RTO requests may be discussed during the interview if applicable
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this position
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
  • State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required for consideration
