Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position requiring strong Pediatric ICU and CV experience, Epic proficiency, and an active WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a children's hospital
- Day/Evening shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm)
- Monday through Friday schedule with every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN or compact RN license (must be currently in hand)
- Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
- Strong Pediatric ICU experience required with at least 1 year of cardiovascular (CV) experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-acuity hospital setting; strong Level II PICU experience may be considered
Additional Information
- Candidates must pass a telemetry competency test prior to being cleared to start
- Strong Level II PICU experience may be considered in lieu of CVPICU-specific background
