Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU night shift position at a rural Critical Access Hospital in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of RN experience.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license (must be currently active or obtainable prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required (3 years preferred)
- Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
Additional Information
- Functions as the primary nurse within an interdisciplinary team providing patient care in the PCU
- Must be physically able to safely work at high altitude (approximately 8,000 feet elevation, which results in a low-oxygen environment)
- No RTO (time off requests) will be accepted for this assignment
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; the local area (Aspen/Basalt/Carbondale/Glenwood Springs) is known for very high housing costs, with 1BR apartments in Basalt commonly running around $3,500/month or more
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
