Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring stepdown experience and the ability to support multiple units including ER hold, overflow, psych, and inpatient rehab.

Details

• Float pool position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• This position is safety-sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• The facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
• Nursing care is delivered through a Shared Governance model with a focus on evidence-based practice and collaborative, patient- and family-centered care
