Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Golden, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license and multiple AHA certifications including TNCC and ENPC.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting in Golden, CO
- Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
- Weekend shifts are required
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
- Epic is the EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
- Required AHA certifications (must not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for ED patients
- Duties also include patient teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation, and monitoring treatment plans
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
