Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a travel contract requiring Epic proficiency, NIHSS certification, and at least 2 years of critical care experience.

Details

• Critical care unit (ICU/CCU) setting within a multi-campus health system
• Trauma center designations vary by campus location: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 trauma centers available
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or CCU RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel contract preferred
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment or contract required
• Driver's license required
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Candidates who were employed by this health system within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Must be prepared to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Must be prepared to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and holiday period (12/23–1/2) regardless of holidays worked
• For positions located in Illinois, an active IL RN license and an active Iowa RN license (or proof of Iowa license application) are required
