Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float PCU position requiring stepdown experience and night shift availability in Arkansas.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Float position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• Adult and geriatric patient populations
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required; critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team across multiple supported units
• Care delivery follows the Shared Governance model with a focus on evidence-based practice
• This position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive result, including CBD products, prior to arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
