Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience, Level I Trauma background, and prior travel experience for a hospital-based assignment serving a pediatric through geriatric patient population.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan department
• Patient population spans neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Epic EMR experience required
• Schedule includes weekend shifts, though the manager may consider removing weekend requirements on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of prior travel experience required
• Level I Trauma facility experience required
• Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs CT imaging exams and procedures accurately across a broad patient population, applying critical thinking and responding appropriately to emergent situations
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential patient medical records
• Has access to medications appropriate to job duties
• The traveler's agency is responsible for supplying a dosimetry badge for the duration of the assignment
• Two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years are required for consideration
• A current skills checklist (within the last year) pertinent to CT is required for consideration
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration, as they may not be honored if submitted afterward
