Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a hospital in Fort Mohave, AZ, requiring 2 years of L&D experience and working night shifts in an 8-bed OB/GYN unit.

Details

• Work setting is a 126,000 sq ft hospital with an 8-bed labor, delivery, and postpartum unit serving labor, postpartum, and neonatal patients
• OB/GYN combined unit serving patients with conditions including gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, term and late preterm indications
• Hands-on experience required with IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal doppler, and syringe pumps
• EMR systems used are MedHost and Centricity; Centricity experience is preferred
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required; night weekends fall on Friday and Saturday
• No call or float requirements

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required, including: NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Experience in labor, postpartum, well baby care, and stabilization of critical newborns for transfer
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for laboring, postpartum, and neonatal patients, including stabilization of critical newborns for transfer
• Experience with LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum) workflows is a plus
• Black scrubs required
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• 13-week contract
