Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Intermediate Care position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Hospital step down / intermediate care unit setting
- Traveler may be placed on either a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on greatest need and individual skill set
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Floating within skill set to other units onsite or to sister facilities within 40 miles may be required
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience required
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Both Med/Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both skill sets
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced local pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
