Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel contract in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and fetal heart monitoring certification.

Details

• Childbirth/Labor & Delivery unit (OB/GYN) in a hospital setting
• Cares for antepartum, laboring, vaginal and C-section delivery, postpartum, and gynecological patients, as well as their newborns
• Night shift: 19:00–07:00
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic for charting
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP — all must be AHA-issued
• MGB Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification required; NCC or AWHONN accepted, with 2-year renewal
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Provides family-centered care across the full continuum of childbirth, including antepartum, intrapartum (vaginal and Cesarean), postpartum, newborn, and gynecological care
• Collaborates on an inter-disciplinary level, adapting communication to each patient's intellectual level and physical ability
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
• Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at a cost of approximately $17–$22 per day
