Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with a minimum of 6 months of current acute care CT experience for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, KS at a Level 1 Trauma and Primary Stroke Center.

Details

• 750-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
• CT department averaging approximately 130 CT scans per day
• Day shift staffing includes a lead tech plus three techs; split shift coverage 9:00 AM–9:00 PM and night shift coverage 7:00 PM–7:00 AM also in place
• Procedures include CTA of the chest, neck, and abdomen; CTA cardiac studies (Structural Heart program); and CT Head Stroke protocol
• Equipment includes 4 GE scanners (64-slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse
• EMR is Meditech; prior experience preferred
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with rotating weekends
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience within the last 6 months
• CT registration with ARRT required
• Active KS licensure required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• GE scanner experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
