Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for night shift at a freestanding emergency department in Andover, KS, with a minimum of 6 months of recent CT/Rad Tech experience and active ARRT (R) certification required.

Details

• Position is located at a freestanding emergency department (FSED) serving both ER and outpatient (OP) patients
• One CT/X-Ray technologist per shift
• Procedures include basic CT and X-Ray exams in an ER/OP setting
• GE imaging equipment is used on-site
• Meditech EMR system is in use; prior experience is preferred
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is available (e.g., Sun/Mon/Tue + every other Sat, or Wed/Thu/Fri + every other Sat)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a CT Tech or Rad Tech, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Active Kansas state licensure required (license required if applicable)
• Must be able to perform X-Ray in addition to CT
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered
• X-Ray experience is preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience is preferred
