Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 2 years of experience, stepdown/PCU float capability, and an active SC nursing license.

Details

• Work in a 29-bed general surgical and orthopedic unit with medical overflow (4T Med/Surg)
• Patient population includes general surgical, orthopedic, and medical overflow cases
• Schedule is days, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• Float to the PCU/stepdown unit as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active SC RN license (or compact license with SC as primary state) currently in hand
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required due to float responsibilities
• Proficiency with IV insertion required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Clean license and background history required — no hits accepted
