Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Level 2 OB and Level 2 nursery LDRP unit
- Unit includes 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, and 4 special care nursery beds
- Triages are conducted using labor beds
- Care spans labor and delivery, triage, postpartum, and circulating in c-sections
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) preferred
- NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) preferred
- NRP Advanced certification preferred
- Fetal monitoring competency (Ascension, AWHONN, or Relias within past 2 years) preferred
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Nurses circulate in the OB OR as part of unit duties
- Radius rule applies and may affect pay rate for local candidates
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
