Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring IN or compact RN licensure and prior L&D experience.

Details

• LDRP unit offering Level 2 OB and Level 2 nursery care
• 8 labor beds with triage conducted in labor beds
• 12 postpartum rooms and 4 special care nursery beds
• 1 OB OR where nurses circulate for c-sections
• RN must be able to work L&D, triage, postpartum, and circulate in c-sections
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• ACLS certification required (must be AHA)
• NRP certification required (must be AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• NRP Advanced certification required
• Fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within past 2 years if not covered by competency exam)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery settings
• Circulate for cesarean section procedures in the OB OR
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility
• Only one submission permitted per candidate system-wide within this health system
