Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at an ambulatory surgical setting in Boston, MA, requiring a MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience.

Details

  • OR setting focused on ambulatory surgical cases including sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general, oral, and minor vascular procedures
  • 10-hour day shifts, 4x10s per week with variable start times of 6:30a, 9a, or 11a depending on department needs
  • No weekend, major holiday, or on-call requirements
  • 40 hours per week, 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
  • Scrub experience strongly preferred
  • Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B) prior to starting — the test may only be taken twice
  • Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager-level or above (not a supervisor), one must be within the last 12 months, and the other within the last 3 years; references from fellow travelers are not accepted

Additional Information

  • Performs circulating and scrub duties across a variety of ambulatory surgical specialties
  • No radius restriction for OR specialty candidates — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • At least one reference from a recent travel or temporary assignment is preferred
