Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital, rotating between inpatient and outpatient settings.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting, rotating between the inpatient hospital and an outpatient imaging center, with the majority of hours at the outpatient facility
  • Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center designation
  • Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents
  • 8-hour shifts on a day (6:30 AM–3:00 PM) or evening (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) schedule, Monday through Friday
  • 2–3 weekends required per month
  • Shifts are variable based on facility needs
  • Epic EMR — experience preferred, with training provided during orientation
  • Free parking available with badge access to the facility garage

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • CT certification required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Experience in inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU settings required
  • IV and contrast administration experience required
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • MI state license must be active by start date; compact licenses are not accepted in Michigan — license required if applicable
  • Must be able to provide proof of high school level education
  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
  • RTO must be submitted at the time of profile; a maximum of 5 days RTO is allowed per assignment
  • Pre-start modules are required and vary by specialty
  • Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
