Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III Trauma Center, with Epic experience required and night shift availability.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit at a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• No on-call requirements
• No floating within the unit, however travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• No parking fees at this facility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; any requested time off should be communicated upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
