Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring strong ICU experience, an MD or Compact RN license, and availability for rotating day/night shifts with on-call and holiday coverage.
Details
- Position is in a hospital PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
- 12-week contract
- Rotating day and night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week): days run 0700–1930 and nights run 1900–0730
- 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week period
- On-call is required
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Floating required to main PACU, pre-op, ICU, and sister facilities as needed
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Combined ICU and PACU experience preferred; ICU experience will be prioritized over PACU experience alone
Additional Information
- Any time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
- Strong ICU background is the primary clinical requirement for this role
