Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Montana, requiring active MT licensure and at least 1 year of NICU or related critical care experience.
Details
- Position is in a hospital NICU (Neonatal ICU) setting
- Variable shift schedule including days, nights, and weekends
- 13-week contract duration
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license (MT state license or compact license currently in hand)
- Current certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and STABLE
- Minimum 1 year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or ICU nursing experience
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends
Additional Information
- Candidate must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, individualized plan of care development, implementation of care plans, and ongoing evaluation of nursing practice
- Collaborative practice model with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Stroke competency education participation is required, including initial cerebrovascular disease training and annual continuing education
- Promotes patient and family education as a core component of the nursing role
