Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring a CA RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications with at least 1 year of recent L&D experience.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Epic EMR used at this facility
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of recent L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred
• 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred
• High-risk OB experience preferred

• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not work on assignment for more than two years (cumulative) without taking a minimum 90-day consecutive break — this applies regardless of whether assignments are continuous or include gaps of less than three months
