Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 29-week travel contract performing general, vascular, OB, and small parts ultrasound in a hospital imaging department.

Details

• Hospital-based imaging department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Specialties include general abdominal, OB (1st trimester), vascular, small parts, and breast imaging
• Assists with ultrasound-guided biopsies
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a call rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ARDMS (AB and OB) or ARRT(S) certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Performs a variety of ultrasound studies including general abdominal, OB, vascular, small parts, and breast imaging
• Assists with ultrasound-guided biopsies as part of routine responsibilities
• Colorado CAPS background check is required prior to start — may take up to two weeks to obtain
