Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) travel position in Aiken, SC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active SC or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit in an acute care hospital setting
- 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a US hospital required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- BSN highly desired
- US Social Security Number required
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
- Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including a full review of systems, with appropriate documentation
- Delivers age-appropriate care across the lifespan by applying knowledge of growth and development
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
