Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift contract position requiring 2-3 years of experience and an active FL CRT and ARRT certification.
Details
- Hospital-based radiology/cardiology X-Ray department
- Procedures include GI studies, general X-ray, C-arm use within the OR, and portable X-ray
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Equipment and software used includes Siemens, GE OEC, Ziehm, Shimadzu, and Philips PACS
- Epic EMR experience required
- 36 hours per week on night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Saturday
- On-call requirements included
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are eligible to apply
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of recent Radiology Technologist experience
- Active Florida CRT and ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required through AHA
- Proficiency with C-arm, portable X-ray, and GI procedures
- Experience with one or more of the following: Siemens, GE OEC, Ziehm, Shimadzu, or Philips PACS
- Epic EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- This is a smoke-free facility
- Proof of vaccination status is required — declinations are not accepted
- Candidates must pass a Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment prior to starting; this is a pass/fail requirement
- If the initial arrhythmia assessment is not passed with 100% on lethal rhythms, a re-take exam (Dysrhythmia Exam B) must be completed within 24 hours and passed with an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
- A study guide and tips to help prepare for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation materials
