Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

  • Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at an academic medical center
  • Procedures include liver center cases, Y-90 radioembolization, MAAS, AVS, DEBS, PTC, and drain placements
  • Siemens equipment used
  • Cerner charting system required
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • On-call required one day per week from 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility

Requirements

  • Current BLS and ARRT certifications required; AHA and RQI accepted and must be current
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Active Indiana or Compact state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Cerner charting experience required
  • Proficiency with PACS and C-arm preferred; contrast experience preferred
  • 2 supervisor references required for consideration
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Indiana residents are considered local candidates and may be accepted at a different pay package
  • Any former permanent or PRN employee of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
  • Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system are required to take a designated consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, effective 2/24/26
  • Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
  • Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
