Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Urbana, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and a minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within an inpatient hospital setting
- Obstetric patient population including intrapartum, labor, delivery, surgical delivery, and newborn care
- Involves fetal monitoring, obstetric medication administration, and patient education
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Weekend shifts are required
- No holiday shifts required
- Epic EMR is required
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temporary license accepted)
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (all American Heart Association)
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
Additional Information
- Provides comprehensive nursing care to inpatient obstetric patients including fetal well-being monitoring, medication administration, patient and family education, and participation in intrapartum and surgical delivery care
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Requested time off (RTO) may not exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment with this health system for more than one year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any of their locations after reaching the 1-year mark
