Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of L&D experience, night shift availability, and multiple OB-specific certifications including NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions), and triage presentations
• Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section)
• Common equipment includes fetal monitors; documentation via Cerner and Fetalink
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina or a compact state (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, CPI, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required, with at least 2 years in a US hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Valid US Social Security Number required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
