Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered CT Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract with occasional weekend support, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• CT Scan department at an acute care hospital in Delta, CO
• 3x12-hour day shifts plus one 4-hour shift per week
• Occasional weekend support required
• Performs standard CT exams as well as special procedures including contrast media administration

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience; 2 years preferred
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Completion of a formal radiology technology training program at an AMA-approved school
• Active state license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient transport, positioning, CT equipment operation, contrast media administration, and participation in special procedures
• Assists in the training of radiology students
• Maintains sterile technique and Universal Precautions throughout all procedures
• MRI experience is a strong plus but not required
