Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5 years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a 100-bed community hospital in Wytheville, VA.

Details

• Hospital-wide respiratory therapy department at a 100-bed, Joint Commission Gold Seal-accredited community hospital
• Adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patient populations
• Common diagnoses include COPD
• Equipment includes ventilators, EKG, BiPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
• EMR systems: MEDHOST and MEDITECH
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• RRT certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Associate's degree required
• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Experience with adult ventilators, CPAP, and pediatric respiratory care required
• License required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Any scrub color is acceptable
