Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Georgia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and multiple AHA certifications including ACLS and PALS.
Details
- General Emergency Department setting with an average of 113 patients per day
- Unit holds both ECC Certification and Stroke Center Certification
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
- Charting is performed in Cerner
Requirements
- Active RN license — GA license or Compact license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- TNCC certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff who wish to return as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break from the facility
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
