Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy-specific experience.
Details
- Hospital endoscopy unit setting
- 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, four shifts per week
- On-call required, including weekends and possible holidays
- Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
- Epic EMR in use
- Floating is required; travelers are first to float, with possible float to sister campuses
Requirements
- Active FL RN license or a compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy RN experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
- Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Full date of birth, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; this rule is strictly enforced
- Candidates must not own or co-sign on any property within the 50-mile radius
- Block scheduling requests are not accepted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be approved after submission
- Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must complete remote orientation and visit the facility in person for badge/ID issuance
- Sister campuses are all within approximately 15–20 minutes of the primary facility
- Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture
- A hiring manager interview is part of the selection process
