Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and Cerner proficiency.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with a varying schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Georgia (GA) or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and AWHONN
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Driver's License required for consideration
- A permanent address matching the Driver's License and RN license on file is required
Additional Information
- Former permanent staff who transitioned to travel nursing must have a minimum 2-year break before returning to this facility as a traveler
- All AHA certifications must be current and unexpired
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- References are not required upfront but will be needed during the compliance process
