Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU (NTICU) position requiring a CA RN license, 5+ years of critical care experience, and prior travel experience for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Level II trauma Neuro/Trauma ICU (NT/SICU) hospital setting
• 12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Patient population includes neuro and trauma cases requiring specialized monitoring and intervention
• Proficiency with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains required
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts with a 1900 start time
• Floating required to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med/Surg units as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience
• Level II trauma critical care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Candidate must be a W-2 employee of their staffing agency to be eligible for this position
