Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital CT department, requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with CT scanning in both the main department and the Emergency Department
• Two Aquilion Toshiba 64-slice CT scanners in use — one in the CT department and one in the ED
• Average of 80–100 patient exams per day
• Cerner EMR — experience preferred
• Rotating day and evening shifts with 8 or 10 hour shift lengths
• Schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Gray scrubs required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency — the facility does not supply one
• Any background history must be disclosed prior to consideration
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before returning
• Travelers may not work within WVU Medicine for longer than one cumulative year before a 2-year break is required
• Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU facility at a time
