Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and active ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department at a community hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
• Patient population includes all ages (pediatric through adult/geriatric) with case types including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, and psychiatric presentations
• Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical care, and 6:1 for fast track
• EHR system: Cerner
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 4 weekend shifts required over every 4-week period
• No call or on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• Trauma and pediatric experience is preferred
• Scrubs required; any color or print is acceptable — non-scrubs, t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, and open-toe shoes are not permitted
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
